What the refurbished Pavilion could look like….

Today Silsden Pavilion is not fit for use, with years of neglected maintenance, the exterior is not waterproof resulting in fallen ceilings and mould. The 90-year-old building has small rooms which are not viable for today’s park users.

Silsden Pavilion Community Group’s plan would rebuild the side extensions to provide toilets and eliminate the security problems posed by the alcoves. The roof would be changed to a simple structure covering the existing flat roofs. The interior, which currently consists of a series of small unusable rooms, would become mostly open-plan, incorporating a kitchen and cafe/meeting place, unisex and disabled toilet with baby changing facilities.

Below is a 3D walk-through video of what the refurbished interior pavilion could be.
